Charity Dinner – Friday 20th October
Planning for the 2023 Putt Putt Charity Dinner is almost complete and the Organising Committee is again looking forward to a great night of dining, entertainment and fund raising. Our relationship with Kids with Cancer Australia Foundation remains as tight as ever and this year we are looking to significantly boost our contribution to their amazing efforts over our 3 key events.
As always we will be providing a great 2 course meal + tea/coffee and cake and this year you will be entertained once again by the magic of Marcus Luc and this year our music will be provided by Budi Bone.
There will be raffles, auctions, silent auctions and, this year, a variation on our traditional balloon prizes and also some surprise guest speakers.
Tickets are available from the Davistown RSL and the cost this year is $60 per head .
We continue to support Kids with Cancer and hope you can join us in their 25th anniversary year to help them continue their great work.
About Kids with Cancer Foundation
Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia is a small independent children’s charity. It has no specific affiliation to any hospital and operates Australia wide to provide support to families of pre-teen children who are in financial difficulties caused directly from their children being treated for cancer. The financial assistance used to help families is made up entirely of donated funds. 100% of the funds donated are used to help families in financial trouble by paying their bills and other everyday expenses. This includes and household bills and/or general living expenses relating to a families everyday living needs. There are several examples of assistance being provided to families on the Central Coast and to the John Hunter Hospital.
