A Putt Putt Regatta Substitute

But for this strange COVID-19 affected year, yesterday would have been the day of the Davistown Putt Putt Regatta & Wooden Boat Festival which we unfortunately had to cancel earlier in the year. Rather than let the day pass by completed unmarked, a number of enthusiasts elected to gather at Davistown in a variety of Putt Putts (old and new) and cruise to Waterfall Bay and back. The weather was reasonably kind to us and a number gathered back at the Davistown Waterfront for a drink or two and to exchange stories. There were about 15 boats involved and a good day was had by all.

Everyone is looking forward to the 2021 Regatta.
